Kottakkal Arya Vaidyasala – Gandharvahastadi Kashayam
A traditional Kottakkal Ayurvedic decoction (kashayam) prepared from a classical herbal blend.
Ingredients include: Gandharvahasta/castor seed (Ricinus communis), Chirabilva (Holoptelea integrifolia), Chitraka (Plumbago zeylanica), Vishwa/Ginger (Zingiber officinale), Pathya (Terminalia chebula), Punarnava (Boerhaavia diffusa), Yavasa (Alhagi pseudalhagi) and Bhumitaala (Phyllanthus niruri).
How to use: 5–10 ml with an equal amount of water before food twice a day, or as directed by a physician; traditionally taken with rock salt or jaggery.
