Kottakkal Arya Vaidyasala - Gandharvahastadi Kashayam
Gandharvahastadi Kashayam is a classical Ayurvedic decoction (kashayam), prepared the time-honoured way for use under practitioner guidance.
Composition:
- Gandharvahasta - Castor seed - Ricinus communis
- Chirabilva - Holoptelea integrifolia
- Hutasha - Chitraka - Plumbago zeylanica
- Vishwa - Ginger - Zingiber officinalis
- Pathya - Terminalia chebula
- Punarnava - Boerhaavia diffusa
- Yavasa - Alhagi pseudalhagi
- Bhumitaala - Phyllanthus niruri
How it is usually taken: 5 to 10 ml with an equal amount of water before food or on an empty stomach, twice a day, or as advised by your practitioner. Often taken with a little rock salt or jaggery.
