Kama Ayurveda Organic Indigo Powder (100 g)
Kama Ayurveda Organic Indigo Powder is an all-natural hair colourant that gives a rich, deep colour when used with henna. Used on its own with warm water it lends a darker tone with a blue tint; for auburn to deep black, prime the hair with a henna treatment first.
Pre-Indigo Henna Mix
Soak the henna powder in tea or coffee water overnight (add a dash of lemon juice if you wish, plus yoghurt or egg for conditioning). The next day, apply to clean hair for around 90 minutes, then rinse with water only. Do not shampoo straight after.
Indigo Mix
Mix the indigo powder with warm water into a paste. Apply to the hair (use gloves or a spatula) and leave on for 45 minutes or more depending on intensity, then rinse thoroughly.
