Multani mitti (calcium bentonite, also called Fuller’s earth) is a mineral-rich clay long used in India for homemade face and hair packs. For external cosmetic use, to support the look of skin and hair.
How to use – hair pack: Soak 6 tbsp fenugreek seeds overnight and grind to a paste. Add 4 tbsp Multani mitti and 1 tbsp lemon juice, mix, apply to scalp and hair, leave about 30 minutes, then wash with a mild shampoo. Once a week.
How to use – skin: Mix 1 tbsp Multani mitti with 1 tbsp papaya pulp, apply to the face, let it dry, then rinse with cool water. For the under-eye area, mix 1 tbsp with 3 tbsp cucumber juice, apply, leave 15 minutes, then rinse. Two to three times a week.
