Reetha (soapnut), known as Arishta in Ayurveda, has long been used in India as a natural hair cleanser. Its mild lather gently cleanses the hair and scalp. For external cosmetic use.
How to use – hair:
- Combine Reetha, Amla and Shikakai powder with a little water to form a paste.
- Apply to hair, leave for 2–3 hours, then rinse thoroughly with cool water.
- Use 1–2 times a week.
How to use – skin:
- Mix ½–1 teaspoon with rose water, massage gently over the skin, then rinse with fresh water.
